"Are We Your Slaves?" Pak PM Slams Western Envoys' Joint Letter On Russia
Imran Khan's comment came after the heads of 22 conciliatory missions delivered a joint letter encouraging Pakistan to help a goal at the UN censuring Russia's intrusion of Ukraine.
Islamabad: Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan hit out on Sunday at Islamabad-based Western emissaries who last week asked Pakistan to denounce Russia's activities in Ukraine, inquiring as to whether they naturally suspected Pakistan was their "slave".
The heads of 22 strategic missions, including those of European Union part states, delivered a joint letter on March 1 asking Pakistan to help a goal in the United Nations General Assembly censuring Russia's hostility against Ukraine.
The transition to deliver the letter freely was interesting.
"What is your take of us? Are we your slaves...that anything that you say, we will do?" Imran Khan said while tending to a political assembly.
In the occasion, Pakistan, a conventional partner of the West, kept away from casting a ballot as the UN General Assembly predominantly reproved Russia for attacking Ukraine.
"I need to ask the European Union envoys: Did you compose such a letter to India?" Imran Khan said, taking note of that Pakistan's main opponent had additionally declined.

Remarks
On Friday, a Pakistani unfamiliar office representative said it was "not regular strategic practice" for agents to make requests like their letter public, "and we have made that understood".
